the inner circle

from eating disorder trained to expert

a 6-month inner circle to become a confident eating disorder practitioner who others refer to with specialist supervision, clinical strategy and psychological/behaviour change support

leave with sharper clinical judgement and a practice model that supports complex work without burnout

  • it's the next best thing to having Emma in your clinic

you’ve done the training in eating disorders and you’re starting to see complex cases…you want expert back-up, not more theory

working with clients who struggle with food and body image is so rewarding, but it’s also complex, emotionally demanding, and at times isolating.

even after completing your eating disorder training, it’s normal to wonder:

  • am I working safely with this complex client - and could I be missing something?

  • how do I navigate the messy grey area between nutrition and psychology in real-life (not just in theory)?

  • who do I turn to when I feel stuck, uncertain or want an expert pair of eyes?

that’s exactly why I created The Inner Circle — a 6-month advanced development programme for eating-disorder-trained nutritional therapists who want to feel clinically confident, professionally supported, and ready to become a go-to expert in this field — without burning out.

the Inner Circle isn’t about more information. It’s about integration, confidence and leadership as an eating disorder practitioner.

It’s the closest thing to having me as part of your clinic team — guiding you through complex cases, supporting your growth, and helping you refine your practice with psychological and behaviour-change approaches.

Spaces are deliberately very limited so I can focus on supporting you.

what is the inner circle?

This is for you if you’re ED-trained and you’re:

  • seeing (or ready to see) complex food/body image cases and want ongoing specialist oversight

  • serious about psychologically-informed practice (not nutrition-only protocols)

  • you’re a super fan of behaviour change and want support applying it with your clients

  • ready to build a clear identity as an ED specialist over the next 6 months

This is not for you if you:

  • want occasional ad-hoc supervision only.*

  • aren’t interested in psychology or behaviour change

*The Inner Circle is different: it’s a 6-month programme designed to help you integrate your eating disorder training into confident, specialist practice — combining clinical supervision, 1:1 strategy sessions with Emma and implementation support, group supervision, access to expert sessions + training discounts, and opportunities to share your expertise, so you build real confidence, clarity, and credibility over time.

who is it for?

key features

clinical supervision (with priority access)

… bring any case – complex clients, risk concerns, co-morbidities, or therapeutic ruptures and get timely, grounded supervision so you can move forward safely and confidently. You’ll have priority access to my weekly supervision clinic to book a slot as needed. Designed for real-time feedback on your clinical approach.

three x 1-1 practice strategy sessions (60 minutes)

…with Emma. Use these sessions to refine how EDs feature in your practice, streamline your offers, align your caseload with your capacity, and position yourself as the trusted ED specialist – without burning out.

clinic audit (+ written summary)

… an expert pair of eyes across your clinic (e.g., offers, content, client journey, pricing, etc.) so that it is ED and behaviour change aligned.

group supervision + community support

…monthly group calls (‘elevate’ group supervision)

bring cases to structured group supervision with other ED-trained NTs, learn from different approaches, and stop feeling like the only one holding this level of complexity in your clinic.

ongoing training, CPD + learning

… access to expert speaker sessions plus special discounts off any new specialist trainings by The Eating Clinic during your programme.

priority client referrals + visibility opportunities

… Inner Circle practitioners will be prioritised for client referrals from The Eating Clinic and invited to selected teaching/speaking opportunities – supporting you to build a reputation as a trusted ED specialist.

about emma

emma created the Inner Circle so that nutritional therapists who are serious about building their expertise in eating disorders don’t have to piece supervision, CPD and business growth on their own.

emma is an experienced nutritional therapist, behaviour change expert, trainer and practitioner in eating disorders. She has worked with clients with eating disorders for 10 years, and is an experienced educator, supervisor and mentor of practitioners working in this field. She is also a guest lecturer on this topic and previously delivered the Nutritional Interventions in Eating Disorders module for the National Centre for Eating Disorders (NCFED) for several years. She has also delivered BANT webinars on nutrition and eating disorders, health psychology and behavioural science.

Emma completed her doctoral research in body image and eating disorder interventions. She successfully uses a combined approach of nutritional, behavioural and psychological interventions; an approach which has been shown to be effective with this client group. She runs an online practice to help clients restore a positive relationship with food.

See emma’s latest publication in the field here.

her role in the Inner Circle is part clinical supervisor, part mentor, and part strategic partner – helping you integrate nutritional, behavioural and psychological approaches in a way that works in real clinics, with real clients.
