These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to your purchase and participation in Nutritional Therapy for Eating Disorders: Advanced Practitioner Programme (the “Programme”) offered by The Eating Clinic Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
Prior to purchasing Nutritional Therapy for Eating Disorders: Advanced Practitioner Programme, please read these terms carefully. By purchasing this programme, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below.
INFORMATION ABOUT US AND HOW TO CONTACT US
The Eating Clinic is a virtual clinic that provides nutritional, psychological and behavioural services. We can be contacted using hello@theeatingclinic.com.
PROGRAMME OUTLINE
Nutritional Therapy for Eating Disorders: Advanced Practitioner Programme is an exclusive programme designed to train nutrition practitioners to provide safe and effective interventions to clients with eating disorders. It is run over six months providing recorded educational material and resources, live monthly Q&A sessions, guest speakers and an assessment. It is a programme delivered using Kajabi.
GRANT OF LICENSE
In consideration of your payment, we hereby grant you a license to use the purchased Nutritional Therapy for Eating Disorders: Advanced Practitioner Programme (“the Product”). This license is limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and is subject to the rights and obligations granted under these Terms.
The license is personal to you and cannot be exchanged or shared with others.
GENERAL
We develop, distribute, and maintain this Product. We will manage your access to the Product and provide support where necessary.
You shall not copy, modify, transmit, distribute or in any way exploit the Product or any other copyrighted materials provided other than for your individual learning. You shall not permit anyone else to copy, modify, transmit, distribute or in any way exploit the Product or any other copyrighted materials.
ACCESS TO MATERIALS
Access to materials will be provided for 12 months starting from the date the material is first available. The programme is for qualified nutrition professionals.
ELIGIBILITY AND PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY
By enrolling, you confirm that you meet the eligibility criteria, are a fully qualified practitioner, are appropriately insured, and understand that you are responsible for applying the learning within your professional scope and jurisdiction. If you are a nutritional therapist, you agree that you completed an NTEC-accredited course for your core training. This Programme is not a license to practise psychotherapy or provide medical advice unless already qualified to do so.
DISCLAIMERS
This Programme is educational in nature and does not constitute clinical supervision, personal therapy, or medical training. You are responsible for working within your scope of practice and seeking appropriate supervision as required by your professional body.
PRICING AND PAYMENT
To secure your place on the course, we will ask you to submit an application form and pay a deposit of £295 (payable via invoice using bank transfer).The deposit of £295 is fully refundable within 14 days of payment. We will refund your deposit within seven business days.
If you are paying in full, this is payable on confirmation of your place on the course (payable via invoice using bank transfer or by a third payment provider - Stripe or Kajabi). If you are paying by instalments, please refer to the payment plan terms (non-credit agreement) below.
After the 14-day cancellation period, no refunds (full or partial) will be issued. This includes instances where you do not complete the Programme, attend live sessions, or access the materials. You remain liable for all remaining instalments unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We reserve the right to review and change the pricing of the product. This will not affect products that have already been purchased.
PAYMENT PLAN TERMS (NON-CREDIT AGREEMENT)
By enrolling in this course and selecting the payment plan option, you agree to pay the full course fee in instalments as outlined at the time of purchase. This is not a credit agreement, and The Eating Clinic Ltd is not a lender or credit provider. Instalment payments are a convenience to support budgeting, and full commitment to the total course fee is required regardless of payment method.
By choosing a payment plan, you agree to the following:
Commitment to Pay: You agree to pay the full course fee over the agreed period, even if you choose to withdraw or do not complete the programme.
Payment Schedule: Payments will be automatically collected at the intervals specified (i.e., monthly) via the platform (Kajabi/Stripe).
Failed or missed payments: if a scheduled instalment payment fails, you will be notified and must update your payment details within 7 days. We will also be entitled to add interest on the overdue amount daily until payment is up to date. Interest is calculated at a rate of 5% over the Bank of England’s base rate on the overdue amount. If payment is not received, we reserve the right to restrict access to the Programme until the account is brought up to date. Persistent non-payment may result in removal from the Programme and referral to a debt recovery service.
Non-Refundable Terms: Except where legally required or explicitly stated otherwise (e.g., a 14-day cooling-off period), payments made are non-refundable.
Course Access: Continued access to course content and live sessions is contingent upon timely payments.

CANCELLATION AND RESTRICTION
In accordance with Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel and obtain a full refund within 14 working days from the date you enrol in the course or the date you pay your deposit (whichever is later). Should you wish to cancel, please request this in writing to hello@theeatingclinic.com and a full refund will be provided within 14 working days of receipt of any valid request.
In the event that one or more session has already taken place within the first 14 days following your enrolment, you are still entitled to request a refund but this will be provided deducting the value of the sessions that have taken place and along with any reasonable costs borne by us in respect of the administrative costs of commencing the programme. The value of sessions will be determined pro-rata.
If you receive a refund, you agree to delete every copy of any materials provided by the programme. This includes downloaded copies as well as those held electronically.
It is your responsibly to ensure you meet the system requirements, including compatible hardware, software, telecommunications equipment, and Internet service, prior to purchasing the Product. We are unable to offer refunds due to insufficient system requirements.
We reserve the right to terminate any agreement between us and your access to the Product with immediate effect if you:
commit a breach of your obligations under these Terms or
fail to provide payment of any sum due to us or
act or behave in a way which we reasonably consider may have an adverse effect on our business or reputation
fail to positively engage with the Product or impair the delivery of it to others.
If this agreement is terminated for any reason, you agree to delete every copy of any materials provided by the programme. This includes downloaded copies as well as those held electronically. You will no longer be entitled to access or use any services, groups or content provided within the Product.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
The Product is designed to train nutrition practitioners to provide safe and effective interventions to clients with eating disorders. You understand that the programme requires 60 hours of training (including two live sessions each month and your own personal study including homework and reading).
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All rights, title and interest in intellectual property rights relating to the Product including copyright, patents, trademarks, trade secrets, improvements, developments, proprietary information, know-how, process, methods, and all other intellectual property (whether registered or not) developed or created from time to time shall exclusively be owned by The Eating Clinic. You understand there shall be no transfer of ownership by using the Product.
You may not reproduce, share, or distribute course content (including slides, videos, case studies, templates, and workbooks) without prior written permission. Breach of this clause may result in immediate termination of access, legal action, and a claim for damages.
PRIVACY POLICY
We act as a data controller for use of your personal data to provide you with access to this Product. We also act as a controller and processor in regard to the processing of your data from third parties. We act as a data controller and processor in regard to the processing of credit card and online payments.
We undertake at all times to protect your personal data, including any health and contact details, in a manner which is consistent with our duty of professional confidence and the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) concerning data protection. We will also take reasonable security measures to protect your personal data storage.
We may use your personal data where there is an overriding public interest in using the information e.g. in order to safeguard an individual, or to prevent a serious crime. Also where there is a legal requirement such as a formal court order. We may use your data for marketing purposes such as newsletters but this would be subject to you giving us your express consent.
